On the morning of July 31st, the 14th meeting of the Guangdong-Singapore Cooperation Council was held in the Sino-Singapore Guangzhou Knowledge City. Wang Weizhong, Deputy Secretary of the Guangdong Provincial Party Committee, Governor, and Co-Chair of the Guangdong side of the Council, and Ong Ye Kung, Singapore's Minister for Health and Co-Chair of the Singapore side of the Council, attended the meeting and delivered speeches.

Introduction to the Guangdong-Singapore Council: The Guangdong-Singapore Cooperation Council was established in 2009, initiated by the then Singaporean leader and Secretary Wang Yang to create a dialogue and coordination mechanism between the province and the ministry. Both parties agreed to establish the "Guangdong-Singapore Cooperation Council." The main functions of the Council are to formulate the work process of the Council; identify key areas and directions for cooperation at different stages; develop annual exchange and cooperation plans; resolve issues arising at the working level of cooperative projects; and participate in other significant cooperative matters between the two sides.

This meeting revolved around two major themes: "Creating a High-Level Mechanism Platform to Empower High-Quality Development in Guangdong and Singapore" and "The Mutual Pursuit of Enterprises in the Greater Bay Area and Singapore." Representatives from both governments and enterprises were invited to engage in in-depth discussions. The event also featured a signing ceremony for cooperative projects between Guangdong and Singapore enterprises, involving 20 agreements across sectors such as biomedicine, financial services, green development, agricultural technology, educational talent, smart transportation, and platform construction.

The meeting showcased the comprehensive, high-quality, and forward-looking characteristics of the cooperation between Guangdong and Singapore, signaling Guangdong's unwavering commitment to comprehensively deepening reforms and expanding high-level opening-up, continuously providing new opportunities for global partners including Singapore through its own new developments.

Governor Wang Weizhong, who also serves as the Director of the Guangdong-Macao In-Depth Cooperation Zone Administrative Committee, and Vice Governor Zhang Xin, who serves as the Deputy Director of the Administrative Committee, listened to the report on Yuxin Belon's establishment, product development, and production in the Hengqin Traditional Chinese Medicine Industrial Park during the meeting and gave unanimous praise. They encouraged Yuxin Belon to grow and thrive in the Guangdong-Macao In-Depth Cooperation Zone and to produce high-tech products that meet market demands.

In the future, Yuxin Belon will also use the Guangdong-Macao Traditional Chinese Medicine Technology Industrial Park as a base and window to actively develop new quality productivity, respond to the call for traditional Chinese medicine reform, create a localized brand in Hengqin, and contribute to the global advancement of the medical technology industry in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area.
